YANAGIYA HONTEN CO., LTD., which marks its 400th anniversary since foundation this year, decided to use Umika Kawashima, who plays active role as an actress, as the new face of its hair oil brand "YANAGIYA Apricot Oil."

"Yanagiya Apricot Oil," which launched in 2008 with the spirit of back to the source of foundation, is a non-drying oil extracted from apricot seeds, and moisturizes and protects hair. Since launch, its non-sticky and light finish and mild scent of apricot has been garnering supports from women, mainly in 20's and 30's.
